Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is seeking Relief Security Officers to maintain safety and deter threats on client sites. The role demands clear communication, a friendly professional service, and the ability to work weekends, with on-site induction and ongoing training provided. A uniform is supplied and progression opportunities exist within the group.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required.
• Aged 18 or over.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Tech-savvy enough to use digital devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to support safety and security on client premises.
• Follow Company Policy on loss prevention and protect staff and visitors.
• Deter potential troublemakers on site in a lawful manner.
• Observe and report incidents using correct reporting systems.
• Perform duties as directed by the client or your manager.
• Keep site knowledge up to date and report local developments.

Your Time at Work

As a Relief Security Officer your duties include:

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• Observing and reporting incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
• Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and the SIA licence is clearly displayed
