Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is seeking a Relief Security Officer to provide visible security and customer service on client premises in the United Kingdom. The role operates on a relief basis with varying hours and requires an SIA licence, age 18+, and a professional, tech‑savvy approach to digital devices.

The position offers progression within a large international company and a uniform is supplied.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required.
• Applicants must be 18+.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Tech-savvy with digital devices.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• Observing and reporting incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
• Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and the SIA licence is clearly displayed
