Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Relief Security Officer for Bath, where no two days will be the same. Applicants must hold an SIA Door Supervisor or SIA Security Licence and a driving license is preferable to cover multiple sites.

You will provide a visible deterrent, support loss prevention and safety protocols across client premises, and ensure a professional service at all times. The role requires strong communication skills, tech-savviness for digital reporting, and the ability to work as part of

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to contribute to safety and security of client premises and staff.
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors.
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site.
• Observe and report incidents using correct reporting systems.
• Carry out duties assigned by the client or manager.
• Ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and local developments identified.
• Understand and implement Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.
• Assist with staff and contractor searches if required by the Client.
• Ensure the Security base is maintained clean and tidy.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that brings credit to yourself and the Company with a full uniform and visible SIA licence.

Your Time at Work

As a Relief Security Officer you will be responsible for:

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff

• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
• Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn, and an SIA licence is clearly displayed
