Job description

At the end of September, we hosted our very own Macmillan Coffee Morning at our Head Office in Bury. Taking place on the 29th and 30th September, we invited clients and their support staff to join us to eat lots of cake, whilst raising money for what is a truly brilliant cause!

We managed to raise a phenomenal £130, which RFI then matched, giving us a grand total of £260! This money will mean that we can pay for two people affected by cancer to attend a health and wellbeing event, providing them with skills to improve the management of these areas within their lives.

The MacMillan Coffee Morning is a national fundraising event, where people al over the UK have their own coffee morning and raise money by eating lots of cake, all in the name of charity!

Since it began, the Coffee Morning has raised over £290 million for Macmillan.

In all, so far, £1,313,450 has been raised for Macmillan, which is enough money to fund 21 Macmillan nurses for a year.

1 in 2 of us will face cancer within our lifetime, and the money raised at the Coffee Morning event each year will help everyone with cancer to live life as fully as they can. To find out more about the Macmillan Coffee Morning, click the link below:

We would like to thank each and every person who supported the coffee morning, from those that made cakes to those that got stuck in and enjoyed them! We had a great day with plenty of delicious cakes to try and we even had a handful left to share with our clients and to take home for the kids.
