Job summary

A leading integrated health board in the UK is seeking a Rehabilitation Coach to support physiotherapists in delivering rehabilitation services. The role involves working with patients both individually and in groups to promote health and well-being through various interventions. Candidates should possess GCSE qualifications, further education in health and social care, and ideally experience working in therapy support or fitness. A desire to communicate effectively with diverse individuals is essential. Knowledge of working with patients before surgery is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with people before surgery is essential.
  • Experience working as a Therapy Support Worker is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the fitness industry is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to therapists in delivering rehabilitation services.
  • Assist in managing group exercise sessions and nutritional advice.
  • Contribute to the overall aims of the Therapies Services.
