This role involves providing exceptional care to patients and clients, supporting surgeries, and monitoring patient health. The position is primarily full-time with potential part-time arrangements available. It offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for learning and development, including a CPD allowance. Candidates must be RCVS registered and passionate about their work.
Medivet Metheringham is a friendly, community-focused village practice, proudly Partner-Led by Dora, and we’re excited to be growing. As our client base continues to expand, we’re now looking to welcome a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team. This role has been created to provide additional nursing support and to work closely alongside our experienced Head Veterinary Nurse, playing an important part in the day-to-day running of the practice and the care we provide to our local community.
This position is ideally full-time, working 40 hours per week and 1 in 4 Saturdays, although we are happy to consider part-time for the right candidate.
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of general nursing duties and will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with both clients and patients in a village setting.
You’ll be working closely alongside our Head Veterinary Nurse, with occasional periods of sole charge due to the size of the team. While we’re committed to supporting and developing our nurses, we want to be open that we’re currently unable to offer Schedule 3 procedures at this time.
In return, we offer a genuinely supportive, close-knit working environment and a real opportunity to be part of a developing practice where your contribution will truly matter.
