An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative Staff Nurse at the Yorkshire Clinic. The successful candidate will have current NMC registration, with excellent organisational and communication skills you will be required to deliver care and services to patients and their families using best practice standards which is based on evidence and research. You will work with the wider multidisciplinary team to drive quality care that meets individual patient care needs.
The Yorkshire Clinic provides care and services for elective surgical patients within a broad range of surgical specialities from Ophthalmic, Urology, Gynaecology, Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, General Surgery, Cosmetics and Plastics. This role will be to work predominantly in the Ophthalmic unit, as a registered nurse you will support Ophthalmic diagnostics, admit and discharge patients having planned elective Ophthalmic surgery and AMD injections.
The successful applicant will be able to evidence previous experience in surgical/medical nursing in the acute setting and have a passion to deliver excellent clinical and customer care. The applicant will have a clear commitment to efficient team working demonstrating effective communication/interpersonal skills to support the commercial success of the business.
Proficient computing skills

IV Skills Certificate
Some experience in surgical nursing, preferably ophthalmic desired.
Excellent organisational and communication skills
