A leading healthcare provider in York is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Endoscopy Unit. This role offers a supportive and fast-paced environment, training opportunities, and a competitive salary ranging from £31,049 to £37,796. The Endoscopy Unit at York offers a fast paced working environment within our new purpose built seven roomed endoscopy unit, where we can support you to learn and develop your Endoscopy and Nursing skills.
The department performs upper and lower GI investigations, ERCP, EUS, colon capsule, manometry and physiology investigations, bronchoscopy and EBUS procedures. Procedures are performed both diagnostically and therapeutically.
Alongside this we offer a nurse led pre assessment clinic providing assessment and advice to patients pre procedure.
A full training package will be offered and ongoing support to help career development. The unit has clinical educators to support you along the way.
Once competent you will participate in the out of hours on call rota assisting the consultant on call with urgent GI bleeds.
Working hours are currently under review. Current working hours are 8am- 8pm with weekend acute lists.
