Registered Children's Manager - Start ASAP

Sirona Medical is currently looking for a Locum Registered Manager for Children's Residential Care located in the London Borough of Hillingdon. This is a 3 - 6 month locum role initially, which could be extended into 2020. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate looking to make a difference.

Role

• Guide and support a team
• Keep abreast of changing practices to ensure the service provides the best level of support
• Manage resources effectively
• Work closely with Psychologists, CCG & Police
• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the service
• Manage premises and staffing in line with Health & Safety regulations

Essential

• Diploma in Social Care or related Health/Social Care field
• NVQ 4 Registered Managers award
• Certificate in Management Studies
• Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs
• Minimum 5 years experience in childcare social work
• Proven management track record in children's services
• Experience in managing people to achieve high performance
• Successful in developing and maintaining effective relationships and communication
• Experience managing complex budgets
• Knowledge of the Children Act 1989
