Job summary

Domus Recruitment is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a luxury retirement living community in Cheadle Hulme. The role offers a base salary of £40,298.59 plus an uncapped annual and quarterly performance bonus, with no on-call requirements.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive occupancy through collaboration with Sales and Rentals, manage budgets, recruit staff, and ensure CQC compliance while fostering wellbeing and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager or Care Manager within domiciliary care.
• Desirable: experience within retirement living, extra care or domiciliary care settings.
• Proven experience in service turnaround, stabilisation or performance improvement.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the development, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
• Collaborate with Sales and Rentals Teams to promote occupancy and community engagement.
• Manage budgets and ensure financial processes are followed.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
• Promote wellbeing and independence through tailored support and activities.
• Develop and manage office and care staff, promoting stability and retention.
• Oversee recruitment activity, particularly within a sponsorship-heavy workforce.
• Embed strong leadership, culture and accountability across the branch.
• Identify opportunities for business growth across private and NHS referral streams.
• Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and improve governance processes.
