Job summary

Domus Recruitment is seeking a Registered Manager for a dementia-focused residential home in the UK. The role requires leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centred care, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding residents’ dignity and independence.

The successful candidate will oversee budgets, care planning and continuity of leadership, supported by a handover from the retiring manager and ongoing professional development as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management role in an elderly/dementia care setting.
• Strong leadership, communication and regulatory knowledge.
• Registration experience in adult social care.
• A passion for person-centred care and improving quality of life.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK and understanding of UK care standards.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the safe, effective and person-centred running of the home.
• Lead, motivate and develop a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure the highest standards of care, dignity and independence for residents.
• Manage budgets, compliance, care planning and safeguarding.

Job description

An established 44 bed home with a family-feel and nice supportive environment. Last CQC inspection of good in all areas. The position has come about due to the current Registered Manager retiring, the successful candidate will receive a hand over with current manager, in order to support a smooth transition and further training will be considered on a case by case basis. The home prioritises delivering care that maintains the dignity and individuality of each person, providing both physical and mental stimulation aimed specifically at those living with dementia. The right candidate for the role can expect.
