Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Regional Trainer to design and deliver practical learning solutions across the security services. You will work with senior leaders and operational teams to implement contract-specific training matrices and develop the Apprenticeship pipeline.

The role involves extensive travel within the South Wales and South-West England region, a background in training in fast-paced environments, and qualification in Level 3 AET or CIPD.

Qualifications

• Requires recognised training qualification (e.g. Level 3 AET or CIPD or equivalent)
• Experience of training design and delivery in operational/management level
• Ability to coordinate internal and external training resources to meet objectives

Responsibilities

• Foster collaborative relationships with Court Security Director, Head of Security Operations, HRBP and Training Coordinator to identify and prioritise training activity
• Create, deliver and maintain contract-specific training materials
• Provide Regional Training delivery and support within geographical/role remit
• Deliver training courses from the skills matrix within the contract scope
• Grow Apprenticeship pipeline and enrolment, bringing new ideas to maximise uptake and levy spend
• Attend stakeholder meetings to update on training activity
• Liaise with Operational leads for training/Apprenticeship requirements
• Ensure sign-off for internal training content and materials
• Coordinate with L&D colleagues to maintain consistency across the business
• Engage with senior leadership to promote apprenticeship strategy
