Job summary

Northern Trains Limited is seeking a Train Presentation Performance Improvement Manager (12 Month FTC) to lead regional teams, coach staff, and translate performance data into practical changes that raise standards across a region.

This role requires strong coaching, problem solving, COSHH and safety knowledge, and a flexible approach to day and night shifts, with on-site working and a salary of £38,129 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and improving team performance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good IT and communication skills to turn data into improvements.
• Experience of risk assessments and Method of Work Statements.
• Knowledge of COSHH requirements and cleaning techniques.
• Willingness to visit teams across day and night shifts, including weekends.
• A1 Assessor qualification is essential for the role.
• Full manual driving licence held for minimum 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Train Presentation teams to improve performance and standards.
• Identify trends from inspections and performance data and implement changes.
• Support onboarding, training and development of new Team Leaders.
• Ensure teams have the processes and resources to perform effectively.
• Assist Regional Manager with operational and performance matters.
• Act as SHEC Champion and maintain safety standards.
