Job summary

Harrington Recruitment represents an international manufacturer seeking a Technical Service Supervisor to own the Technical Service function across the UK and Ireland. The role combines hands-on leadership with accountable management of service quality, resource planning and compliance with global standards.

The role acts as the central point of contact for Technical Service in the UK and Ireland, interfacing with Technical Support, Sales, Warehouse and broader global teams.

Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational training or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Management experience or demonstrable leadership capability.
• Experience in operational service management, resource planning and coordination of technical teams.
• Experience in KPI management, process management and continuous improvement.
• A valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Service team in UK & Ireland and conduct appraisals.
• Plan capacity, deployment and holidays across the region.
• Manage KPI reporting and ensure compliance with global processes.
• Act as main Technical Service contact for key customers and escalate cases.
• Oversee tools, equipment and budget forecasting for the regional service.
