Job summary

Mettler Toledo is seeking a Regional Service Manager to lead field service operations across the south of the UK. You will oversee a team of Service Technicians, drive service strategy, and manage regional performance to deliver service excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction.

You will report to the Head of Service and work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery, compliance with safety standards, and an emphasis on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading field service, technical, engineering, or operational service teams.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Technicians to achieve outstanding performance and customer satisfaction.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing service strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor service performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage regional service operations, including resource planning, scheduling, staffing, and workload allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Manage regional service budgets and operational expenditure.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service processes to support business objectives.
