Job summary
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Technical Service & Training Manager to lead hands-on technical support across the UK, Ireland, and parts of Europe. You will diagnose complex faults on-site and remotely, coach engineers and subcontractors, and drive technical readiness for new product launches.
The role combines field service with formal training delivery and performance improvement, working closely with Service Operations and Installation teams in a dynamic national service
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills in doors/entrance systems.
- Experience coaching engineers and subcontractors.
- Field service background in technical environments.
- Ability to diagnose complex faults on-site and remotely.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support to engineers and subcontractors, diagnosing faults on-site and remotely.
- Act as field technical expert, identify recurring issues, and support improvements to first-time fix performance.
- Deliver structured technical training, demonstrations, and coaching across product range and new launches.
- Support onboarding and training interventions for engineers and subcontractors.
- Conduct on-site competency assessments, technical evaluations, and audits with safety and quality standards.
