Job summary

I2I Recruitment in the United Kingdom seeks a technically minded sales professional to manage customer activity within an allocated region, supporting Area Sales Managers and delivering technical and commercial help.

You will handle inquiries, quotations, orders and complaints, promote products, and build lasting customer relationships while collaborating with Engineering and Systems teams on solutions. Quotation accountability goes up to £25,000.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar technical or technical sales role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to sales.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Confident managing multiple priorities and workloads.
• IT literate with MS Office and SAP.
• Technical qualification such as ONC, HNC or HND desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and customer activity across an allocated geographical area.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers and support Area Sales Managers.
• Handle customer enquiries, quotations, orders and complaints.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers and colleagues.
• Follow up quotations and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Promote products, services and value-added solutions.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Work with Engineering and Systems teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Visit customers alongside Account Managers and support exhibitions and product presentations.
• Keep CRM records, sales activity and project opportunities up to date.
• Managing quotations up to £25,000 within your authority
