Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is supporting a well-established engineering company in Basildon to recruit an Internal Sales Engineer. You will combine technical product knowledge with customer interactions to grow accounts and drive revenue.

Responsibilities include handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and building strong relationships with new and existing customers while collaborating with the external sales team and engineering department.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background required or evident in experience.
• Experience in internal/technical sales or engineering support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive attitude and desire to learn and progress.
• Able to commute to Chelmsford area for work.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer enquiries and providing technical product advice.
• Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Working closely with the external sales team and engineering department.
• Identifying opportunities to grow accounts and maximise revenue.
