Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe is seeking a Regional Service Engineer to cover the UK, Ireland and Nordics. The role focuses on technical support, warranty management, and dealer interaction to sustain service excellence across the region.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in serviceEngineering/technical support for heavy machinery, strong diagnostics skills, fluent English, and a readiness to travel up to 20 dealer/customer visits annually. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a service engineer or technical support in construction/heavy machinery.
• Fluent in English; Scandinavian or Baltic language knowledge is a plus.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems knowledge; diagnostics/troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to train dealer technicians.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region; valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Act as the first contact for technical issues in the region; provide prompt support to dealers.
• Visit dealers/customers to assist, troubleshoot, and guide service operations.
• Manage and process warranty claims; report recurring issues to corporate teams.
• Coordinate with parts, logistics, and sales to resolve service issues.
• Follow training programs to stay updated on products and service methods.
• Build strong dealer/customer relationships and provide ongoing after-sales support.
• Collect field data and provide feedback to engineering and product teams.
• Maintain records of communications, visits, and warranty cases; report KPIs to Service Manager.
