Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Regional Planner / Scheduler in Birmingham to coordinate and plan workloads for field-based engineers. The role focuses on efficient service delivery across client accounts, with a 40-hour work week.

You will book work in advance, coordinate subcontractors, and monitor KPIs to meet targets while maintaining accurate records and timely scheduling of emergency and one-off work.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, or logistics, ideally in facilities management or water treatment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; commercially focused and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works with engineer diaries.
• Liaise with clients to book work in advance and capture all necessary job information.
• Coordinate subcontractors, raise purchase orders, and organise resources.
• Monitor planning performance, including KPIs, revenue tracking, and return visits.
• Maintain accurate records, order parts, and schedule emergency and one-off works within agreed timeframes.
