Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is seeking a Designate General Manager to lead across Norfolk & Essex region parks, gaining hands-on experience in all departments and preparing for a General Manager role.

You will rotate across parks for at least 6 months each, with regional mobility and close collaboration with General Managers and Regional Directors to deliver business plans and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership experience across large, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial awareness, including understanding EBITDA targets.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support park operations, deputising for the General Manager and taking full responsibility during periods of absence.
• Work across all departments, gaining hands-on experience and developing capability to independently run a large multi-functional holiday park.
• Collaborate with General Managers to drive improvements in systems, processes and park performance.
• Develop knowledge of Group and park systems, supporting Heads of Department and ensuring effective operational use.
• Support financial performance, including revenue, budgets, wage control and EBITDA delivery.
• Work with the People Team to recruit, onboard, train and develop team members at every level.
• Lead key operational meetings, including HOD meetings, 1:1s and Health & Safety briefings.
• Develop and support departmental business plans with targets and reporting.
• Use guest feedback and data to shape improvement plans for owner and holidaymaker experience.
• Drive commercial opportunities to maximise sales and margins.
• Ensure effective complaints handling per policy.
