Job summary

The Housing Network is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee and optimise operational activities across designated regions, with emphasis on South Central. You will line manage field teams, supervise asset and void management, and ensure safety and compliance for our portfolio.

Based in Oxford, this role offers a competitive salary, a company vehicle, Simplyhealth, 25 days annual leave and a Blue Light Card, with regular daytime hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Regional Operations Manager or Estate Manager covering a large portfolio in social housing or charitable settings.
• Commercial mindset; understands financial and operational constraints.
• Experience of Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise operational activities across designated regions.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the property portfolio and line manage field teams.
• Manage staff, third party contractors, asset management, void management and property compliance.
• Ensure staff comply with safety regulations and PPE provision.
• Review customer feedback and implement improvements.
• Present reports to Senior Leadership Team on metrics like property standards, voids, staff performance and customer satisfaction.
