Qualifications

• Good understanding of core housing management functions.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer experience.
• Ability to motivate and drive teams to high performance.
• Confident engaging with external partners, agencies, and internal colleagues.
• Skilled in providing guidance and supporting challenging or sensitive casework.
• CIH Level 4 (or willingness to work towards it).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for regular travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Housing Officers and drive operational performance, customer experience, and service consistency across the area.
• Spend around 60% of time on-site, in office, on patch, or meeting customers and partners.
• Provide leadership to handle complex cases and support staff in decision-making.
• Collaborate within a national network of Housing Managers and participate in multi-agency meetings and local partnership forums.
