Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing is seeking an Operations Manager - Supported Housing to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of supported living services. You will oversee housing management, safeguarding and performance to deliver high-quality, value-for-money outcomes for customers.

The role requires experience in leading dispersed teams, managing budgets and building strong relationships with commissioners and partners to drive service development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing supported housing or similar services.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and housing welfare benefits understanding.
• Experience leading multi-site or geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to build relationships with commissioners and stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets and delivering cost-effective services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Values-driven with commitment to equality and inclusion.
• Understanding of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Care (desirable).
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing multi-site teams to deliver high-quality supported housing services
• Driving performance against KPIs, regulatory standards and contractual requirements
• Embedding a strong safeguarding culture and overseeing incidents, complaints and risk
• Managing relationships with commissioners, partners and stakeholders
• Supporting service development, innovation and continuous improvement
• Managing service budgets and ensuring efficient, effective resource deployment
