Job summary

My client, a respected UK HVAC solutions business, is seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to drive commercial activity across the North West. The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days weekly in the Central Manchester office during onboarding, reducing to 1 day per week once established.

You will promote a full HVAC portfolio to consultants, contractors, FM providers and end users, guiding opportunities from enquiry to order.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial HVAC sales.
• Strong track record in solution/technical sales.
• Good knowledge of chillers, heat pumps and AHU.
• Experience selling to consultants, contractors, FM and end users.
• History of >£1m turnover opportunities.
• Existing regional network with stakeholders.
• Autonomous, proactive and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Promote HVAC product offering across NW UK.
• Drive business development with consultants, specifiers, contractors, FM, end users.
• Generate and develop sales leads; convert opportunities.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry to order.
• Maintain existing relationships and win new business.
• Collaborate with estimating, design and engineering teams.
• Deliver technical and commercial presentations and meetings.
• Evaluate market potential and identify growth areas.
• Provide technical and commercial input throughout the sales cycle.
• Produce monthly sales reports and manage pipeline.
• Formulate targeted sales strategies to maximise revenue.
