Job summary

Loreburn in Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a part-time Housing Manager to oversee a patch of homes and deliver a generic housing management service. You’ll handle tenancy management, lettings, rent accounts, and tenant engagement, ensuring high standards of service.

You’ll build strong relationships with tenants and communities, manage a varied workload, and work with partners to sustain thriving, safe neighbourhoods. Flexibility and commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in tenancy and estate management within housing.
• Ability to build positive relationships with tenants and local communities.
• Experience handling a wide range of tenancy enquiries and issues.
• Knowledge of rent accounts, lettings and tenancy enforcement is desirable.

Responsibilities

• You will manage a patch of homes and provide a generic housing management service.
• Cover tenancy and estate management, empty homes and lettings, rent accounts, tenant engagement, and tenancy enforcement.
• Build positive relationships with tenants and communities and respond to enquiries.
• Support tenants to sustain tenancies and find practical solutions to issues.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes and maintain safe neighbourhoods.
• Balance a varied workload and adapt to changing priorities.
