Job summary

Loreburn Housing Association is seeking an experienced repairs leader to guide its Repairs & Maintenance function across Dumfries & Galloway. This home-based role provides strategic leadership to ensure safe, responsive and value-for-money services for tenants.

You will oversee 38 FTE, manage budgets and contractors, drive improvements, and promote health and safety, building safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining a strong focus on tenant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior repairs or maintenance leadership experience within social housing.
• Ability to lead teams, manage performance and develop staff.
• Experience in budgets, procurement and contractor performance.
• Knowledge of health and safety, building safety and compliance issues.
• Strong use of performance data and tenant-focused service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the repairs service across Dumfries and Galloway with 38 FTE.
• Motivate, develop and performance-manage teams and contractors.
• Drive service improvement, value for money and safety compliance.
• Attend meetings, provide technical advice and manage plans.
