Job summary

Leisure (Operations) in the United Kingdom is seeking a Housing Officer to deliver a customer-focused housing management service across a regional patch. You will take ownership of tenancy and neighbourhood issues and work with partners to keep communities safe and well maintained.

This part-time role, 21.75 hours per week over 3 days Mon-Fri, requires knowledge of tenancy law and strong Office skills to build effective partnerships with customers and housing colleagues near Inverness.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management across rented tenures with tenancy law.
• Experience delivering housing, tenancy or neighbourhood management services.
• Experience managing housing-related issues such as anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, safeguarding or tenancy sustainment.
• Existing local connections with external partners or ability to develop them.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a customer-focused housing management service across a regional patch.
• Own tenancy and neighbourhood issues and find practical solutions.
• Regularly inspect communal areas and manage anti-social behaviour and breaches.
• Support customers to sustain their tenancies and keep communities safe and well maintained.
• Oversee service charge budgets and work with internal teams and external partners.
• Identify and support vulnerable customers through safeguarding procedures.
