Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Housing Manager to lead a regional team delivering housing and tenancy services across the Northwest, with occasional travel. This permanent, part-time (25 hours per week) role offers a meaningful way to support people facing housing and wellbeing challenges.

You will oversee day-to-day housing management, performance against KPIs, safeguarding, arrears, and tenancy sustainment, ensuring safe, compliant properties and strong resident engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management, ideally with vulnerable or complex needs.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management, arrears, and housing processes.
• Ability to manage priorities and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team delivering housing and tenancy services
• Manage property performance, including voids, arrears, and compliance
• Provide guidance on safeguarding, risk, and anti-social behaviour
• Monitor performance against KPIs and ensure accurate reporting
• Support audits, inspections, and service improvements
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Promote resident engagement and involvement
