Job summary

Rhino Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading fire safety company for a Business Development Manager / Account Manager. You will own a territory across South Wales, the Midlands and the South West, growing opportunities and delivering technical and commercial solutions.

The role focuses on developing key accounts, tendering and building long-term customer relationships while collaborating with engineering and support teams to ensure high service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire safety sales.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems BS5839 Part 1 and 6.
• Experience selling fire extinguishers, suppression systems and service contracts.
• Experience managing large accounts and sales pipelines.
• Competent using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities across South Wales, the Midlands and South West.
• Develop opportunities across fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, suppression systems, service contracts and fire safety consultancy.
• Manage existing accounts and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Prepare tenders, proposals and sales contracts.
• Research market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
