Job summary

Rhino Recruitment seeks an experienced Sales Manager for a leading fire safety company in South Wales, with UK travel. The role leads a small sales team and drives growth across South Wales, Midlands and the South West while maintaining a personal sales pipeline.

You will oversee pricing, margins and CRM activity, support complex tenders and align with operations, ISO9001, NSI GOLD and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven fire safety industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of active and passive fire protection.
• Experience managing and developing sales teams.
• Proven sales experience across fire alarms, emergency lighting, suppression and service contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness including margins and profitability.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with pipeline management and CRM systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the sales team; set KPIs and activity targets.
• Drive sales strategy across South Wales, Midlands and South West.
• Oversee internal sales desk, pricing and gross profit control.
• Monitor enquiry-to-quote and quote-to-order conversion.
• Maintain pricing, margins and pipeline forecasting.
• Build strong relationships with customers, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure handover from sales to operations and compliance with ISO9001/NSI GOLD.
