Job summary

Firerite (UK) Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive fire safety solutions across South Wales, Midlands and South West with UK travel. The role blends strategic growth with account management, tender preparation and service contracts.

You will build long-term relationships while expanding the customer base and ensuring high service standards. You will report to the Sales Manager, work with internal teams, and leverage SIMPRO CRM to manage opportunities and pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire safety sales including design fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
• Experience managing large accounts and a sales pipeline.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical products clearly.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of passive fire protection and field service management systems.
• Understanding of SLAs, KPIs and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in fire safety.
• Drive new business in design fire alarm, emergency lighting, extinguishers and services.
• Prepare tenders, proposals and sales contracts with internal teams.
• Research market trends and identify expansion opportunities.
• Use CRM to track activities and keep client data up-to-date.
• Collaborate with sales support and technical teams to meet customer needs.
• Regularly report sales performance and ensure ISO NSI GOLD compliance.
