A prominent educational trust is seeking a Finance Manager to join its central finance team on a fixed-term basis. You will support financial operations for schools in Didcot and Reading, with responsibilities including managing reports and overseeing budgets. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our central Trust Finance team on a fixed term basis for 6 months with the possibility of this extending beyond the 6 months. The role will be supporting schools in Didcot and Reading, so the candidate will need to be able to travel to both locations.
As a Finance Manager, you will work as part of the finance team, led by the Finance Partner, to deliver an expert service to our schools, including:
We can offer hybrid working, or you can choose to be fully based at Aureus School in Didcot. Regular visits to schools in the region will be necessary. We are looking for someone to work 30-36 hours a week, 43 weeks a year (term time plus 4 weeks), but also open to hearing from professionals looking to work 52 weeks a year. GLF currently has 35 schools in the primary phase, and 8 secondary schools. Our schools span a wide area, including Oxfordshire, Wokingham, Surrey, Croydon and West Sussex.

Salary: Senior Specialist £34,429 FTE (salary to be pro‑rated depending on working hours/weeks agreed)
Contract type: Fixed term for 6 months
