Job summary

Cast UK Limited is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead a dispersed team of Field Service Engineers across the South. This leadership role focuses on people management, performance improvement and building a high-performing regional operation.

You will translate business objectives into regional plans, coach engineers, and monitor performance against KPIs, driving continuous improvement in service delivery while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams or multi-site operations.
• Proven track record of driving performance improvements and accountability.
• Ability to translate strategy into regional plans and targets.
• Strong use of KPIs and management information to steer teams.
• Hands-on leadership style with coaching and development focus.
• Comfortable with difficult conversations and change management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the region and provide strategic leadership to a dispersed team of Field Service Engineers.
• Translate service strategies into clear regional plans, priorities and targets.
• Motivate, develop and set clear expectations for engineers; foster high performance.
• Conduct regular 1-2-1s, reviews and development discussions with individuals.
• Monitor regional and individual KPIs, analyzing data to drive improvements.
• Address underperformance and implement improvement plans where needed.
• Identify skills gaps and succession opportunities across the region.
• Lead implementation of new processes and changes within the team.
• Collaborate with other Regional Managers and senior stakeholders to share best practices.
• Maintain strong cross-team relationships to ensure regional effectiveness.
