Job summary

Remarkable Jobs in Bracknell is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead a team of field engineers within a technical services environment. You will manage day-to-day field service operations, including scheduling, resource planning and ensuring delivery meets client expectations.

This permanent, office-based role focuses on KPI monitoring, team performance, training and compliance with health & safety standards, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Field Service Engineers, Service Engineers, Technicians or mobile engineering teams.
• Engineering or technical background in services, testing, maintenance or compliance.
• Strong people and operational management experience.
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating field-based teams.
• Strong customer and stakeholder-management skills.
• Engineering or technical qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Field Service Engineers / mobile engineers.

Salary

Circa £45,000-£55,000 DOE

Contract

Permanent | Full-time - Monday - Friday

We're looking for an experienced Field Service Manager / Field Engineering Manager to lead a team of field-based engineers within a technical services environment.

You’ll manage the day-to-day field service operation, including engineer scheduling, resource planning, team performance, training and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Field Service Engineers / mobile engineers
• Coordinate engineer scheduling, workloads and resource planning
• Monitor KPIs, productivity and service performance
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development
• Provide operational and technical support to engineers

About you

• Experience managing Field Service Engineers, Service Engineers, Technicians or mobile engineering teams
• Engineering, technical services, testing, maintenance, compliance or similar background
• Strong people management and operational management experience
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating field-based teams
• Strong customer and stakeholder-management skills
• Engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent industry experience, preferred
