Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to deliver induction and ongoing development training for staff across 4 homes in the Reading/Wokingham/Bracknell region. The role is home-based with travel to locations in the region and to external meetings as needed.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), a C&G 7300, and at least two years of training experience, plus a full UK driving licence to enable travel.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• C&G 7300 or equivalent qualification is required.
• Two years training experience is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with ability to travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver induction and development training against Barchester objectives and training statistics.
• Provide practical, hands-on training across a variety of subjects.
• Plan and publish training calendars.
• Maintain employee training files up to date.
• Observe workplace practice and coach new staff.
• Attend meetings and external conferences as required.
• Promote learning opportunities offered by Barchester and support individual development plans.
