Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support our culinary operations across Surrey and the North. You will lead a kitchen team to deliver nutritionally balanced, high‑quality meals within budget, while upholding Avery's standards of care and service.

The role involves regular travel to multiple homes, staff supervision, and ensuring food safety and hygiene in line with our Food Safety Management system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of kitchen leadership experience
• Knowledge of health and safety and current food safety legislation
• Trained in IDDSI / textured modified diets

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for approval by Home Manager, maintaining records
• Place food orders with approved suppliers within budget and stock-control procedures
• Supervise kitchen staff and host team; train unqualified staff in basic food prep
• Ensure hygiene standards per Avery Food Safety Management system and high quality provisions
