Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support daily operations across our Surrey region homes. You will lead a culinary team, plan nutritionally balanced menus, and ensure high hygiene and safety standards in a multi-site environment.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in busy kitchens, COSHH awareness, and IDDSI/training. You will travel between homes and contribute to a caring, high-quality dining service for residents.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in managing a busy kitchen and a minimum of 5 years' culinary experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety and current food safety legislation.
• Knowledge of COSHH and managing the cleaning of the culinary department to 5-star rating standards
• NVQ 3 in Food Production or equivalent / City and Guilds 706-1 706-2 Catering qualifications / Trained in IDDSI / textured modified diets
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership qualities

Aufgaben

• Manage and direct the culinary team across homes in the Surrey region.
• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for approval by the Home Manager.
• Consider special dietary needs and retain records for inspection.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers, within budget.
• Supervise kitchen staff and demonstrate food preparation to unqualified staff.
• Understand and implement the Avery Food Safety Management system.
