Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support the culinary operations across its homes in Surrey, Chertsey and Marlow. You will lead a team to provide nutritionally balanced, high-quality meals while managing costs and ensuring safety and compliance.

Travel between sites across the north is required to supervise and develop staff, implement menus, and monitor quality, ensuring residents enjoy varied and appetising meals daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a busy kitchen and delivering nutritionally balanced meals.
• Knowledge of health and safety and current food safety legislation.
• Trained in IDDSI / textured modified diets is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the culinary department across multiple homes.
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff and Host team on shifts.
• Place orders with approved suppliers and manage stock within budget.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and safe food handling.
