Job summary

Tesco Cafés across the country are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a region of our cafés. You’ll translate hospitality experience into consistent service, lead managers, and drive performance across People, Customers, Operations and Finance.

You’ll develop talent, mentor café teams, ensure health and safety, and work with leadership to deliver plans while maintaining financial targets. Tesco offers development opportunities and a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Make sure all cafés in the region comply with health, safety and food standards.
• Drive improvement programmes to elevate underperforming cafés.
• Lead Café Manager and teams through training and mentoring.
• Oversee best practices to ensure quality service and legal compliance.
• Monitor maintenance of cafés and equipment to protect assets and meet regulations.
• Use your skills to find better ways of working for customers and colleagues.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to achieve the business vision.
• Work with store and office teams to deliver plans and provide feedback.
• Conduct timely performance reviews to identify development or corrective actions.
• Apply financial acumen to boost revenue and minimise expenses.
