Job summary
Macstaff is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead regional sales growth for construction products across Northern England and Scotland. You will operate home-based with field coverage, building relationships with fabricators, contractors, architects and specifiers to create opportunities and close deals.
The role focuses on promoting specialist ventilation, louvre and building products, supported by a strong CRM and a clear route to market.
Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales experience in construction products or related markets.
- Experience developing new business and managing regional accounts.
- Ability to present technical products and negotiate contracts.
Responsibilities
- Develop regional sales strategy to grow revenue and market share.
- Identify, target and win new customers across construction sectors.
- Grow existing accounts and build long-term relationships.
- Promote window ventilation, louvre and related building products.
- Engage fabricators, contractors, architects and specifiers to identify opportunities.
- Deliver product presentations, demos and technical advice.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and maintain CRM records and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer solutions.
