Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to service and maintain heavy commercial and light industrial refrigeration systems across the North West. You will be involved in planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs on cold rooms, freezers and chillers, covering sites in food production, bakery and brewery sectors.

The role offers a salary up to £48,000 DOE, door-to-door travel, overtime paid at time-and-a-half and double time, a 25-day holiday

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out planned and reactive maintenance on refrigeration systems.
• Fault finding and repairs on cold rooms, freezer rooms and chillers.
• Travel to visiting sites across food production, bakery and brewery sectors.
• Respond to service calls and ensure equipment operates to specification.

Refrigeration Engineer - Salary & Benefits

• Up to £48,000 Basic Salary DOE
• Door to Door travel paid
• Plenty of overtime available paid at 1.5x & 2x
• 1 in 6 on call rota - £200 retainer paid + overtime rates for call out
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

• Planned and reactive maintenance, service, fault finding and repairs on Cold Rooms, Freezer Rooms, Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled Chillers
• Visiting sites across food production, bakery & brewery sectors
