Job summary

Marble Talent Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our field-based team, covering commercial and industrial sites across the South of England. The role focuses on service, maintenance, repair and commissioning of refrigeration systems, including chillers, cold rooms and display cases.

You will carry out fault diagnosis, leak detection and repairs, while adhering to F-Gas regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer in commercial or industrial settings.
• F-Gas qualification is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and commission commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults.
• Fault-find compressors, condensers, evaporators and control systems.
• Attend breakdowns and service calls, minimising customer downtime.
• Carry out refrigerant leak detection and repairs in line with F-Gas regulations.
• Complete service reports, timesheets and refrigerant logs.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and customer service.

Our client is a well-established specialist in commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, with over 50 years of industry experience.

They are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their field-based team, covering commercial and industrial sites across the South of England.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and commissioning of a range of refrigeration systems, including chillers, cold rooms, display cases and industrial refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and commission commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults.
• Fault-find compressors, condensers, evaporators and control systems.
• Attend breakdowns and service calls, minimising customer downtime.
• Carry out refrigerant leak detection and repairs in line with F-Gas regulations.
• Replace faulty components and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Complete service reports, timesheets and refrigerant logs.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer.
• Strong commercial or industrial refrigeration experience.
• F-Gas qualification - essential.
• NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems and controls.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with HFCs, HFOs, CO₂, ammonia or other refrigerants would be advantageous.
