Job summary
Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to service and maintain heavy commercial & industrial refrigeration systems across the North West and beyond. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on cold rooms and chillers, visiting sites in the food production and bakery sectors.
The role requires a full UK driving licence and F-gas Cat 1 certification, with door-to-door travel paid and generous overtime. A company van and private healthcare are provided.
Qualifications
- Fgas Cat 1 certification is required.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive maintenance on cold rooms, freezers, chillers.
- Travel to sites across UK food production sectors.
- Fault finding and repairs on refrigeration systems.

Position: Refrigeration Engineer
Location: North West
Salary: Up to £48,000 DOE
Refrigeration Engineer required in the North West. Our client is a well-established refrigeration and process engineering company with a reputation built on technical excellence and quality of delivery. They specialise in the design, installation, service and maintenance of all types of heavy commercial & light industrial refrigeration systems, specialising in the food production, bakery & brewery sectors.
- Up to £48,000 Basic Salary DOE
- Door to Door travel paid
- 40 Hour working week
- Plenty of overtime available paid at 1.5x & 2x
- 1 in 6 on call rota - £200 retainer paid + overtime rates for call out
- OTE £60,000+
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Company van provided with optional personal use
- Private healthcare
- Planned and reactive maintenance, service, fault finding and repairs on Cold Rooms, Freezer Rooms, Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled Chillers
- Visiting sites across food production, bakery & brewery sectors
- Happy with travel to various sites across the UK.
