We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Faslane. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of air conditioning and refrigeration systems on marine vessels and shore-based facilities. This role requires a high level of technical competence, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and supervise a small team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Carry out ducting and ventilation installations (desirable).
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Lead and coordinate small teams of technicians.
• Liaise with engineers and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Complete all necessary documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration or related fitting work.
• F-Gas certification (essential).
• Experience installing air conditioning systems (essential).
• Ducting/ventilation experience or 18th Edition/Electrical certification (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Marine experience (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
• Must hold SC Clearance (or be eligible to obtain it).

Location: Faslane, Scotland
Hours: Minimum 50 hours per week
Rate: £39 per hour + Overtime available
Clearance: SC Clearance required
