Job description

Lifeguards have one of the most important jobs at our centers, and that is keeping our customers safe in and around the water.

Recreation Assistants will perform duties pertaining to both wet and dry sites.

What we are looking for:

In order to be considered for a Lifeguard position at Leisure Focus, you need to be a strong swimmer and have excellent customer service skills. You should also have:

  • A UK recognised pool lifeguard qualification, NPLQ qualification is essential
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to appropriately correct behavior of pool users where necessary
  • Confidence and an approachable nature
DBS:

Recreation Assistant position classed as a regulated post and therefore may require a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS Disclosure, it will be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.

  • 28 days paid annual leave per year
