Job summary

KA Leisure in Irvine is seeking a Recreation Assistant I (Part Time) to prepare facilities for use, keep them clean, and assist customers. The role is 11.5 hours per week, evenings and weekends, at The Portal, Irvine.

Occasional lifeguarding duties are included; a current lifeguarding qualification is preferred or candidates must be willing to become qualified. Closing date is Friday 30th October 2026.

Hours: Part Time- 11.5 hours per week (evenings and weekends)

Job Purpose

Preparation of facilities for use and on-going cleaning of facilities, ensuring a high standard of housekeeping for our customers and colleagues Provide assistance to customers General supervision of the facilities and services

The post primarily involves cleaning and general duties detailed above. The post will involve lifeguarding duties as and when required. As such, we are ideally seeking candidates for the position who have a current lifeguarding qualification or who would be open to becoming lifeguard qualified once appointed.
