Job summary

KA Leisure in Irvine is seeking a Recreation Assistant II (Pool) to supervise the pool area, maintain high cleanliness, and deliver friendly customer service. This full-time role offers 37 hours per week at £13.52 per hour under Living Wage guidelines.

You will support swimming lessons and programmes, ensure safety, and help run daily facility operations. A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is required.

Job Purpose:

The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of all pool users. This includes supervising the pool and surrounding areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility preparation, and providing excellent customer service. The role contributes to a safe, welcoming environment and supports the delivery of swimming lessons, programmes, and other aquatics activities.
