Job summary

Triathlon Scotland is seeking a part-time facilities assistant at The Portal in Irvine to prepare and clean facilities for customer use. The role involves evenings and weekends with a weekly hours target of 11.5, permanent contract, and on-site duties at 66 High Street, Irvine, KA12 0AZ.

You will assist customers and supervise facilities, with lifeguard duties as required; candidates with a current lifeguarding qualification are preferred, or training may be provided after appointment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities cleaning and basic housekeeping.
• Customer service mindset and ability to assist customers.
• Willingness to Lifeguard train/qualification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare facilities for use and maintain high standards of cleaning and housekeeping.
• Provide assistance to customers and support facility users.
• Oversee facilities and services with lifeguard duties as required.

Rate of Pay: £13.52 per hour (K:A Leisure provides workers with a minimum hourly rate of £13.52 under the Living Wage Initiative. Term and Conditions apply)

Hours: Part time – 11.5 hours per week (evenings and weekends)

Job Purpose:

Preparation of facilities for use and on-going cleaning of facilities, ensuring a high standard of housekeeping for our customers and colleagues

As such, we are ideally seeking candidates for the position who have a current lifeguarding qualification or who would be open to becoming lifeguard qualified once appointed.
