Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking an assistant to support the safe operation of recreational facilities, including swimming pools, within a defined geographical area. You will assist the Duty Officer in developing and improving all service areas and maintain a high standard of customer relations.

There is a daily requirement for manual handling and a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme membership or update check is required.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check required if spent 3+ months outside the UK.
• Offer subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.

Requirements

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
